Panasonic Toyota Racing driver Ricardo Zonta has had a productive three-day test at Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France this week. Driving the TF102B intermediary car and working mainly on Michelin tyre evaluation, the Brazilian completed 274 laps of the 4.51-kilometre track configuration, which equates to over 1200 kilometres.

"We have had a very busy three days at Paul Ricard. We have completed a lot of useful work, mainly testing and evaluating Michelin tyres in preparation for the San Marino Grand Prix, but also looking ahead to some other European races. We also carried out some work on traction control. We completed a massive number of kilometres this week, gathering lots of promising data and it was certainly a nice feeling to be behind the wheel for such a long time this week."

Preview
The Panasonic Toyota Racing team now heads to Interlagos in Brazil for round 3 of this season's FIA Formula 1 World Championship. First practice for the 32nd Brazilian Grand Prix takes place on Friday 4 April and is followed by the weekend's first qualifying session.
