The Brazilian enjoyed a busy day, clocking 87 laps and one of the fastest times of the day with a best time of 1m20.641s on the penultimate day of testing before the Cologne-based Panasonic Toyota Racing team's home grand prix at the Nürburgring next week.

Cristiano da Matta - Car No. 21
Chassis: TF103/03
Best lap time: 1m20.64, 87 laps completed
Working on: Michelin tyre testing, general set-up work

"It was another very good day for us in Jerez today. We were working on general car set-up, nothing really specific for the next races at the Nürburgring and Magny-Cours, but really multi-purpose work for the rest of the season. We also did some Michelin tyre testing and tried some more aero parts, and it was a good test with a lot of laps completed. I hope we can continue in this way for tomorrow's final day."

Weather: Sunny and hot. Maximum air temperature: 34°C.
Track: Dry at all times. Maximum track temperature: 50°C.
