Panasonic Toyota Racing: Barcelona Test - Day 4

Barcelona Test 25-28 March - Day 4

Motorsport
A rain-drenched morning at the Circuit de Catalunya did not prevent the Panasonic Toyota Racing team from completing this week's technical programme in Barcelona today with Olivier Panis totalling 63 laps of the 4.73-kilometre track. Once the track dried in the afternoon session, the Frenchman was able to complete more valuable preparation work for next weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix.

Olivier Panis - Car No. 20
Chassis: TF103/03
Best lap time: 1m18.755s, 63 laps completed
Working on: Wet weather Michelin tyre testing and Brazilian GP preparation

"We had a lot of rain this morning but we were still able to make use of this to test wet weather Michelin tyres and it was very productive. Once the track dried up in the afternoon we managed many more kilometres, and generally over the last two days, we have completed a lot of laps and learned a lot for next week's Brazilian race. I want to say thanks to the test team and the guys in Cologne for the job they have done this week and I hope we can have a rewarding weekend in Interlagos."

Weather: Overnight rain slowly drying by the afternoon.
Track: Wet all morning, drying out by.
