The T3 Tundra has a direct tie-in with the upcoming action film "T3: Rise of the Machines," the third installment of the popular "Terminator" films. "T3: Rise of the Machines" is a C-2 Pictures/Intermedia production and will be released domestically by Warner Bros. Pictures, an AOL Time Warner Company. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Claire Danes, Nick Stahl and Kristanna Loken, and is directed by Jonathan Mostow. The truck will be showcased in the film by playing a prominent part in a thrilling chase scene. A limited production of approximately 800 T3 Tundra's will be built.
The T3 Tundra will be offered as an SR5 Access Cab 4x2 and will be available in two exterior colors, Black and Imperial Jade Mica. The Tundra is paired with a powerful 4.7-liter V8 i-Force engine that delivers 240-horsepower and a four-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission.
Performance is further enhanced with a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) Sport package that includes 17-inch Magnesium finished alloy wheels and tires, Tokico shocks, sport suspension, heavy-duty stabilizer bar, a limited slip differential, and a throaty TRD Dual Exit Exhaust.
Exterior refinements include a full color-keyed appearance, an aggressive TRD front grille, and T3 logo badging on the grille.
The interior features unique Dark Charcoal diamond-perforated leather seats, three-piece metallic dash appearance, and T3 logo floor mats.
The T3 Tundra will be on sale at Toyota dealerships in early July, coinciding with the premiere of the film.
