Panasonic Toyota Racing: Jerez Test 12-14 June 2002
After a mixed first day of testing in Jerez, Panasonic Toyota Racing took to the track again today with Mika Salo driving the TF102. Work was focused predominantly on mechanical set-up and tyre testing ahead of next week's European Grand Prix.

Chassis: TF102/03
Best lap time: 1m19.78s
Number of laps completed: 55

"We did mainly tyre testing today, but also worked on suspension and dampers to improve the car's balance. The car handled much better than yesterday, but there is still room for improvement. This track has a twisty layout, putting a premium on gear shifts and brake efficiency - two areas very important for Nürburgring next week."

Weather: Overcast in the morning with some high wind, but generally hot.
Temperatures: Air - Min 24°C, Max 33°C; Track - Min 26°C, Max 46°C.

Test driver Ryan Briscoe takes over for the final day of testing in Jerez tomorrow.
